From March 21 to October 31, 2026, Castello Imperiali in Francavilla Fontana hosts "Barocco e Neobarocco. Da Rubens a Mitoraj", an exhibition that juxtaposes Baroque 17th-century masterpieces with contemporary works by Polish sculptor Igor Mitoraj. On display are paintings and sculptures by Rubens, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Bernini, Pietro da Cortona, and Mitoraj himself, known for his fragmented classical figures. A dialogue between eras that highlights the continuity and breaks of the Baroque language. The exhibition, initially scheduled until July 31, has been extended to October 31, 2026, thanks to its great public success.
Rassegna 'Anno Zero - Sotto il Cielo di Tuglie' e 'Tuglie è Arte'

The summer program 'Anno Zero - Sotto il Cielo di Tuglie' offers a rich calendar of cultural, musical and theatrical events in Piazza Garibaldi and other spaces in the historic center. At the same time, the initiative 'Tuglie è Arte' offers young visual artists the opportunity to exhibit their works on easels in the same square during the evenings of the program, creating a suggestive combination of performance and art.
XXXIII Concorso di Ceramica Contemporanea 'Mediterraneo'

The XXXIII Concorso di Ceramica Contemporanea 'Mediterraneo' brings to the Castello Episcopio in Grottaglie 81 works selected from 401 applications from 48 countries. An event that confirms the Apulian city as an international reference point for artistic ceramics. The exhibition, set up from July 4 to October 18, presents works ranging from sculpture to installation, with particular attention to innovation and contemporaneity. This year's novelty is the 'Grande Opera' section, dedicated to ceramic interventions designed to dialogue with urban space and the public outside the exhibition halls.

Heritage experiences in Porto Cesareo - Visite guidate e attività al Parco Archeologico Sommerso e Costiero

From July 24, 2026, Porto Cesareo inaugurates its Underwater and Coastal Archaeological Park, an area that preserves evidence from the Bronze Age to the Roman era. The program of guided tours and activities allows you to explore this heritage with archaeologists, both along the coast and in the water. You can choose between archaeowalking among dunes and coastal sites, archeosnorkeling to observe underwater remains (with your own equipment and good swimming ability), and archeopaddling by canoe or SUP. The activities are free and take place in morning and afternoon shifts, starting from the infopoint in Piazza Aldo Moro, where e-bike sharing and a solar boat are also available to reach the points of interest. The park is not just archaeology: the calendar includes cultural events such as festivals, conferences, screenings, book presentations, and astronomical evenings. The inauguration on July 24 at 9:30 PM includes the Candle Harmony Concert at Scalo di Furno, while the following day starts with solar boat tours and guided visits to Torre Chianca.

Caprarica di Lecce comes alive from August to October with a program spread across squares, gardens, and courtyards. The project combines culture, craftsmanship, and gastronomy to discover the village and its traditions. The program ranges from terracotta and woven basket workshops to guided tours of the historic center, including jazz concerts, book presentations, and historical-themed food and wine evenings. There are also sports tournaments and board games designed for families.
PhEST 2026 – Festival Internazionale di Fotografia e Arte a Monopoli

PhEST 2026, the eleventh edition of the international festival of photography and art, transforms Monopoli into an open-air gallery from August 7 to November 1. About twenty exhibitions of contemporary photography and art are set in the most evocative locations of the historic center, including Castello Carlo V, the former Monastero di San Leonardo, and the squares overlooking the sea. This year's theme, 'What If?', guides special projects with protagonists such as Vivian Maier, Roger Ballen, and Joan Fontcuberta. The opening takes place on Friday, August 7 at 7:30 PM at the Monastero di San Leonardo, followed by three days of meetings, live music, and screenings. Thanks to the partnership with the Grotte di Castellana, the festival ticket entitles you to a reduced rate for the underground tour.

From August 8 to November 5, 2026, the Castello di Gallipoli hosts the exhibition "L'ombra e il corpo nelle opere di Giorgio De Chirico e Marino Marini", the flagship event of the summer cultural program. The exhibition, curated by Prof. Lorenzo Madaro, presents a selection of 50 works by the two great masters of the 20th century, from the Guastalla Centro Arte in Livorno. The project "A MORE BARI" offers a cycle of 9 free experiential itineraries to discover the lesser-known neighborhoods of Bari: Ceglie del Campo, San Paolo, and San Girolamo. Each route, lasting 3-4 hours, combines a guided tour, a workshop or performance activity, and a tasting of local products. In Ceglie del Campo the itinerary enhances historical and archaeological memory together with craft and agricultural production realities. In San Paolo the route focuses on street art murals and urban regeneration. In San Girolamo the waterfront becomes the protagonist, combining water sports, memory of migrations (with a stop at the Memoriale Vlora) and a visit to the Radio Museum. The appointments are scheduled on weekends from September to December 2026.
