Back in Ascoli Satriano is the 2nd edition of the Festival of Contemporary Poetry, a series running from July to October 2026 with poetry slams, meetings and readings. The program includes poetry slam evenings by the duo SLAMMALS (August 22, September 19) and a meeting-reading with poet Gian Mario Villalta on October 3. An opportunity to immerse yourself in contemporary poetry in a suggestive provincial setting.
Centri di gravità temporanei – La città che si mette in orbita
Molfetta (BA)
The widespread event series "Centri di gravità temporanei – La città che si mette in orbita" brings six events with different artistic languages to various neighborhoods of Molfetta, linked by the common thread of care, word, memory, voice, sound, and irony. The program: August 23 "Nuovi Finali" (Via Samarelli), August 29 "Slam poetry" (Piazza Immacolata), September 6 "Amuleti di Molfetta" (Via Dante), September 13 "Workshop di poesia" (Giardino delle Aloe), October 4 "Kilohertz" (Piazza 1° Maggio), October 11 "Letture e Musica di Stefano Benni" (location to be defined). Each appointment is enriched by collateral activities called "Costellazioni".
Salento Book Festival – XVI Edizione

16th edition of the Salento Book Festival, a literary series spread over three evenings with book presentations and meetings with authors. The program includes: - August 25 at the Atrio di Palazzo Gallone: Beppe Convertini presents "Paesi miei" and Don Cosimo Schena presents "L'eresia di Francesco". - September 8 at the Atrio di Palazzo Gallone: Dario Stefano presents "Vino & Turismo" and Ivan Cotroneo presents "Grande". - September 17 in Piazza G. Pisanelli: Annalaura Giannelli presents "Processo a Caino" and Nicola Piovani presents "Volano le canzoni".
Workshop with Silvana Kuhtz – Putignano Rete di Libri Project

As part of the "Putignano Rete di Libri" project, several appointments will be held with Silvana Kuhtz's workshop. A hands-on workshop to approach the art of bonsai, inspired by the Wabi-sabi philosophy. You will learn aesthetic concepts (asymmetry, styles, nebari, management of empty spaces and choice of the front), philosophy (the essence of Wabi-sabi and harmony of proportions) and practice (styles and ecological niches, principles of repotting and correct watering technique). The event takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at EZEN in Lecce. Spaces are limited to 15 participants, with entry at 20 euros.
