The JELUME theatre festival enlivens the summer of Sternatia with five events in Piazza Castello, between July and August 2026. The programme includes: on 18 July "Le corne de lu massaru", on 24 July "La commedia continua", on 1 August "La uardia", on 7 August "La salute" and on 18 August "Nò su fessa iu nò". Improvisation and popular theatre performances in the Salento dialect, to rediscover local traditions and culture.

On July 31, 2026, an event dedicated to promoting physical activity and well-being will be held in Sternatia, organized by ASD Bodyrevolution di Sternatia. The event, sponsored by the municipality, aims to spread the importance of movement and a healthy lifestyle through sports activities and social gatherings.
