47th Nativity Scene Exhibition 'Presepe, luogo di pace'
Castello Episcopio, Grottaglie
The 47th edition of the Nativity Scene Exhibition in Grottaglie, titled 'Presepe, luogo di pace', transforms Castello Episcopio into a gallery dedicated to nativity scene art in ceramics, the city's symbolic material. Artists, artisans and students from the Art High Schools are called upon to interpret the nativity scene as a message of peace and encounter between cultures. The exhibited works, many of which will become part of the civic collection of the Museum of Ceramics, offer the public a journey between tradition and contemporary creativity. The exhibition invites reflection on the universal meaning of the nativity scene, a symbol of dialogue and hope.
