«Lettera ad Eduardo» arrives at the Nuovo Teatro Verdi in Brindisi on Tuesday 17 November 2026 at 8:30 PM. It is a show by and with Massimiliano Gallo dedicated to Eduardo De Filippo. On stage, the actor writes an ideal letter to the «Commendatore» and retraces his bond with the Neapolitan Master: personal memories, family stories and encounters with the protagonists of the Neapolitan scene, from Totò to Raffaele Viviani. At the heart of the story is the man before the playwright, his dedication to theatre and the way he was able to speak of fragility, family ties and the contradictions of life. Alongside Gallo are the voice of Carmen Scognamiglio and the original music by Mimmo Napolitano, leading five musicians of the Napolinord Big Band. The show is promoted by the Municipality of Brindisi and is part of the 2026-2027 season of the Nuovo Teatro Verdi.
