Brindisi welcomes the fourth edition of the Mediterranean Cup, a stage of the European Under 23 Circuit for men's and women's individual épée. On the strips set up in the New Teatro Verdi, dozens of young épée fencers from all over the continent compete. The event begins with an inaugural evening, continues with the elimination rounds and culminates in the finals. The theater stage also provides the backdrop for the awards ceremonies, offering the audience a close-up view of top-level youth fencing.
